Cafes are a great place to go when you’re craving a bite to eat, coffee, tea, or anything else that might cross your mind. Usually, cafes are little places out of the way and quaint, giving an atmosphere most people enjoy while either starting their day or a slight break in the day for other meals. Many of them only cater to breakfast and lunch, while some cater only to lunch and dinner. In Lafayette, these cafes will be a delight for you to visit, and while you’re here, look around town.

1. Rêve Coffee Roasters

This artisan cafe boasts a Cajun background where it can take its roots from bringing you the greatest cup of coffee ever. From nitro cold brews to tea, there isn’t a thing that this cafe doesn’t have. With its chill vibes, modern and spacious interior, you can’t go wrong walking into Reve to get a taste of their micro-brewed coffee, which their staff is knowledgeable about and more than willing to educate you on should you have questions.

Stepping into Reve, you’ll immediately be overcome with a sense of tranquility that will make you want to sit for a while and enjoy not only coffee or tea but the many baked goods and food that they have on hand to snack on. Enjoying these treats and then wandering through Lafayette will be the highlight of your day!

2. Black Café

Open early and closed after lunch, this cafe offers delivery and takeout should you want to stay in and enjoy a day at home, or even take with you to go on a picnic while driving around town. With its friendly and knowledgeable staff, great atmosphere, and great location, this makes for a prime spot to start your day or stop in while exploring the area.

The service here is quick, the food is fresh and fantastic, and the coffee is delicious, making this a well-rounded cafe to visit. The only drawback is that they’re not open on the weekends, but that’s just bonus points for the boss to give his employees the weekend off.

3. Jet Coffee

Open all day starting at 5 am until 8 pm, you’ll find the staff here to be friendly and well-versed in what they have enough to answer all your questions and give excellent recommendations. The drive-thru is a breeze, though the lines can be long at times with how popular this place is, and there are plenty of menus with its reasonable prices listed for you to make a solid choice.

No matter where you’re coming from, whether you’re a resident of the area or from out of town and exploring what these cafes offer, don’t forget to drive around to explore what the area offers. Before you do that, though, please stop by and visit us at Service Cadillac, where you’ll not only find a friendly face but affordable prices on your next new car!
