From the first half of 2022, you’ll be able to get your hands on the all-new 2023 Cadillac Lyriq, Cadillac’s first all-electric luxury SUV. With its dynamic styling, exhilarating performance, and stunning technology, the Lyriq is set to revolutionize the auto industry. Here’s what you need to know about this amazing SUV.
Unique Design
The 2023 Cadillac Lyriq features stunning design elements that bring together technology, performance, and sheer artistry. Replacing the traditional grille is a black shield featuring a unique three-dimensional texture and an illuminated Cadillac crest. It’s flanked by ultra-slim vertical LED headlights.
As you approach the Lyriq, a choreographed lighting sequence begins spreading from the front shield. It takes in the headlights, the illuminated flush-fitting door handles, courtesy lights, the ribbon of light around the rear window, and finally the distinctive vertical LED taillights in an amazing display.
The Lyriq offers access via the digital key. It features a full glass roof and comes standard with 20-inch six split-spoke alloy wheels, or you can opt for 22-inch dynamic split-spoke alloy wheels.
Power and Performance
Power for the Lyriq is provided by a 12-module, 100 kilowatt-hour Ultium battery pack and an electric motor driving the rear wheels. The system generates a Cadillac estimated output of 340 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque. It should offer a range of more than 300 miles on a full charge.
Using the standard dual level charge cord and the 19.2-kilowatt (kW) home charging module, you can add a range of around 52 miles per hour of charging. At public 190 kW fast charging stations, a 10-minute charge will give you around 76 miles of range. As an integral part of the body and chassis, the Ultium battery platform gives the Lyriq near perfect weight distribution and a low center of gravity, which aids its superb handling characteristics.
State-of-the-Art Technology
The Lyriq will be available with Super Cruise, the first true hands-free driver-assistance technology for use on compatible roads. It features adaptive cruise control, lane centering, and Lane Change on Demand for a more relaxed and convenient drive.
The focal point of the Lyriq’s cockpit is the intuitive 33-inch curved LED digital display that seamlessly integrates the instrument panel and infotainment touch screen. This configurable display is capable of emitting over a billion colors to provide you with a stunning visual experience.
The Lyriq is being offered with an AKG Studio surround sound system that features 19 speakers, including front headrest speakers, for the ultimate sound quality. To allow you to fully immerse yourself in your music, or to enjoy the whisper-quiet serenity of the cabin, the Lyriq features the next-generation enhanced Active Noise Cancellation system.
Spacious and Futuristic Cabin
Inside, the Lyriq’s spacious and superbly crafted cabin envelops you with the finest materials and offers plenty of room for passengers and cargo. It comes standard with plush simulated leather upholstery and aluminum accents. Backlit laser-etched wood, along with the ambient lighting, creates a warm and comforting ambiance that makes a pleasure of any journey.
