Pack the kids and all their friends into your Cadillac Escalade and head to one of these mini golf spots near Lafayette, LA for a great day out. It can be hard to find something that will keep the kids occupied and having fun together with the family, but these are a few of our favorite spots to get that done.

Two Great Spots for Mini Golf in Driving Distance of Lafayette, LA

Surge Entertainment

If you were looking for the ultimate spot to take your kids, Drew Brees’ Surge Entertainment is a place they’re going to think is really cool. You’ll find it at 2723 West Pinhook Rd., and it’s open from 11 AM until 10 PM Sunday through Thursday. On Friday, they stay open until midnight, and on Saturday, their hours are 9 AM to midnight. There’s an endless amount of stuff to do here, the staff are great, and the food is spectacular for this type of venue.

This is a different animal than your regular miniature golf experience. The golf course they offer here is a golf course simulator with great TVs and comfortable, well-equipped lanes to play in. You can bring your own clubs or borrow theirs, and you can play serious golf simulator if you want to really improve your game or play on a variety of really fun courses, including mini courses, that the kids are going to love. There’s also a trampoline, park, bowling, and a lot more. This spot is perfect for those rainy days.

Kart Ranch

For a more traditional outdoor experience, head over to the spot at 508 Youngsville Highway. They are open from 10 AM until 8 PM, Sunday through Thursday. On Friday and Saturday, they stay open for an extra two hours until 10 PM. This is a place for a classic miniature golf course, go-carts, arcade, bumper cars, and great food. The restrooms are very clean and the staff accommodating.

The Kart Ranch is very experienced–and popular–when it comes to hosting events, particularly birthdays. This is also a popular spot for teams and church groups to visit and even to hold corporate or fundraising events. In addition to what we have already mentioned, they have laser tag, a Thomas the Train kiddy train for the little ones, Battle Botz, bumper boats, a climbing castle, a soft play area for the littlest ones, water wars for those super hot days, and batting cages. They even have smaller kitty carts for the very young ones in your group who are too small to play on the full-size go-karts.

Either of these spots is within easy travel distance of us here in Lafayette, and both are an enormous amount of fun. Whatever the weather, there’s something to do. Make sure your family ride is ready for any adventure: bring it for service to us here at Service Cadillac.
